Snow removal update

Facilities, Planning & Management crews have been out clearing snow since 2 a.m. and provided the following updates:

• Roads, sidewalks, and parking areas have been cleared, however due to heavy winds, drifting has been occurring so while some areas remain clear with only a small amount of snow, other areas have large drifts will that need to be removed again.
• Crews sanded and salted yesterday prior to the snow starting but with the rain there are still some icy spots. Sanding and salting will occur where needed for traction.
• Crews will remain diligent throughout the day to continue to remove snow both new and drifting. The inside of buildings may be somewhat messy as snow is tracked in.
• Eagle Heights roads are plowed. Parking lots & sidewalks not cleared yet, but are in progress.
